  2. There is no "Japanese" exclamation point. People use "!" in informal writing.

  3. With うんてんする, can you say you're driving to a place, or can you only say what you're driving?
    アトランタにうんてんします vs. くるまをうんてんします

  4. Both ways. But slight change is needed to sound natural.

    The first one needs to be アトランタまでうんてんします。or アトランタにうんてんして行きます。
    "まで" means "upto" in this case.

    The second one, 車をうんてんします。, is perfectly fine.

    You could also say these altogether. For example, アトランタまで車をうんてんして行きます。

  5. If I did not understand a subject last week, but I understand it now, would I say "今、わかります。" or "今、わかっています。"?

    (先週はわかりませんでしたが、)
    今はわかっています。or
    今はわかります。
    Either way works. はparticle works well here to make a contrast between last week and now.
