This video is a poetry reading of 谷川俊太郎（たにかわしゅんたろう, my favorite Japanese poet） performed by 佐藤浩市（さとうこういち）

The poem contains many "short form + と + いうこと" phrases.　と is a quote maker. いうこと is a "short form plus noun" format.
For example, 生きているということ means the fact I am alive.

His name is ミギー (Why?). He is a main character from 寄生獣（きせいじゅう）, one of my favorite manga series. It's a very cool but grotesque sci-fi manga. English title is Parasyte.
